The Jardine Fleming Building, also known as the "building of a thousand arseholes." Poke around in this company's history and you'll find its origins in the opium trade. It was the opium trade at Jardine during the 1840's that kept Temple House of County Sligo in the Perceval Family. Of course, it's just as impolite to talk about drug dealing as it is to condemn a city for its weather. |
